With the car scene having fallen pretty quiet since 100mm I took the opportunity to head out a for a small mid week gathering with some of Melbourne’s finest Evos and their owners. No big crowd, no one revving and frying tyres on exit and good chance to hang out with a few like minded Melbournians
With a fresh coat of Laguna Blue and an array of Voltex and Chargespeed parts, this Evo VII RS definitely looks the part and after speaking with the owner, there is every intention of getting it out on the track and proving she is now garage queen.
Another Evo of the older variety also rocking a fresh lick of paint caught my eye for quite some time having seen pictures on the internet recently. I knew I had to get a few shots of it when I saw it parked up.
Like many Evo’s getting around Melbourne recently, its had the Burnzy treatment but with a tune only tickling its potential, it should be a really fun car once its done
Wingless Evo X with a few tasteful mods make for a prefect inconspicuous street warrior
With summer drawing to its close and the warmer weather slowly becoming a mere memory I just hope these sorts of meets are’nt going to have to wait another year
